The Neocat cat shows are a genuine spectacle. Every year on the last Sunday in January the biggest cat show of the Netherlands is organized by Neocat in the Cattle Market Halls in Utrecht.

Late September Neocat also organizes a “small” show in the Jan Massink hall in Nijmegen.

In Utrecht more than THOUSAND cats of any possible kind of breed from the Netherlands and abroad can be admired there. These cats are judged by a team of judges from the Netherlands, Great Britain, Belgium, France, Germany etc., who choose the best specimens.

Can you imagine what it means to the owner of a cat, when at the end of the day he is there on the stage, with the Best Over All, the most beautiful cat of the entire show, in his arms?

The show in Nijmegen is more intimate but still with over 600 cats. Frequently visited by German breeders showing their splendid cats.

Neocat is a society of cat fanciers so we love all cats, including moggies. That is why many people enter their household pet to compete for the prize of “Best Moggy”.

Litters in the age between 13 and 17 weeks are also present at the show. The litter in its entirety is judged on beauty. A nice spectacle, these young twisters on the table of a judge.

And how about the Class of Honour, in which cats are entered that have won nearly everything they could possibly win? They are European Champion or European Premior and compete for the title “Best Class of Honour”.

Neocat shows always have a Special during which extra attention is paid to a certain breed or a certain group of cats with a special feature. A real crowd puller for owners or breeders of those cats. A lot of competition, contacts with people who prefer a certain breed, a presentation on stage by a judge or an experienced breeder.

We try to please both cat and human as much as possible.
